Frequently Asked Questions
-
We’ll typically meet once a week for 45-minute sessions. In our first few meetings, we’ll explore your history, clarify your goals, and get a sense of how we can best support you. It’s normal for therapy to feel harder before it feels easier, painful or long-avoided emotions may surface, and we’ll be with you through all of it. We encourage you to trust the process. You may come in for one thing and discover deeper layers along the way, but you are always in charge. We’ll guide our work but always follow your lead.

We are an “out-of-network” provider, which means we do not take insurance, however, if your insurance plan has out-of-network benefits, a portion of the therapy fee may be covered by your insurance company. We recommend you contact your provider directly and ask the following questions:
Do I have out-of-network coverage?
Is Psychotherapy (outpatient office visit or telehealth) covered? CPT code: 90834-95 (telehealth)
What is the amount of my deductible, and how much have I met?
What is my responsibility (co-insurance) once the deductible is met?
We will provide you a receipt for services (superbill) at the end of each month that you can submit for reimbursement.
We discuss rates in detail during your complimentary consultation call, so there's full clarity before you begin.

Depending on what you are coming in for, the course of treatment can be brief or take time. An important, yet often unclear piece of therapy is how to track progress. We believe this should be a collaborative effort, so we will continuously monitor your growth and progress and check in with you to ensure you are getting what you want out of our time. If, at any time, you feel like you need to go in a different direction, we encourage you to bring this up with us.

Likeminded Therapy offers individual, couples, and family therapy for high-achieving professionals — including those in finance, law, startups, and executive roles — navigating anxiety, burnout, career transitions, and relationship challenges. Sessions are held virtually across New York, California, and Florida.
-
Likeminded Therapy was founded by Nicole Rothschild, a former investment banker at Goldman Sachs turned licensed therapist. That background means our team understands high-pressure environments and burnout firsthand, not just clinically — we work specifically with high achievers, founders, and executives who want a therapist who relates to the world they operate in.
